The "Asharqia" and "Hafr Al-Batin" chambers sign a memorandum of understanding to promote joint business

On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, the Asharqia Chamber concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Hafar Al-Batin Chamber to enhance joint work, coordination, and integration to serve the objectives of the two parties, in the technical and administrative fields, aiming to raise the level of cooperation and coordination between them to serve the business sector.

Today, Wednesday, the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Hafar Al-Batin Chamber visited the Asharqia Chamber, during which they met with the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of the Chamber and several heads of specialized committees and the General Secretariat.

The memorandum, signed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Ruzaiza, and his counterpart, the President of Hafr Al-Batin Chamber, Salman bin Hassan Al-Aqeel, stipulated the exchange of experiences, the organization of joint meetings, and coordination between the sectoral committees in aspects that serve the business sector for the subscribers of the two chambers.

The memorandum reviewed the working mechanism for implementing and achieving its objectives, which begins with holding meetings between the members of the Board of Directors in the two chambers to discuss common issues and ways to deal with them, organizing a program of practical visits for the employees of both parties to get acquainted with the existing organizational units and the services they provide, and assigning some employees of the Hafar Al-Batin Chamber for training and carrying out tasks. In similar departments in the Asharqia Chamber to acquire appropriate skills, provide suggestions in establishing information bases that suit the existing needs of the Hafar Al-Batin Chamber, and contribute to the available means and capabilities in developing training centers between the two parties according to the scientific foundations of training planning to suit the programs that are implemented with actual training needs.

The memorandum focused on joint work by organizing some joint activities and developmental areas of interest to business owners, encouraging and proposing the establishment of some joint projects for business owners, organizing meetings between sectoral committees for business owners involved in the membership of the two parties, and organizing meetings between the business sector of the two parties in each specific activity. Discuss common issues and obstacles and put forward proposals to address them.
